48-HOUR RIDE Make-A-Wish Quebec : $ 1,614,000 raised

2017-09

It is with much emotion that the Make-a-Wish team has closed the 11th edition of the 48-HOUR RIDE on Sunday afternoon. This year, more than 1 300 cyclists took over the ICAR circuit and a part of the Montréal-Mirabel airport in order to raise funds to grant wishes for children who suffer from life-threatening diseases. Thanks to their efforts and their commitment, a total of $1,614,000 was raised!

“It’s incredible to see all of these people committed to cycling for our cause. Every year I’m amazed by the enthusiasm of our participants, our donors and our volunteers whose generosity never diminishes. Every dollar raised goes to granting even more wishes!” states Pierre Thériault, Founder of the 48-HOUR RIDE.

2017 is a transition year for the 48-HOUR RIDE. The wide space available at the Montréal-Mirabel Airport and the ICAR circuit will enable the Foundation’s most important fundraising event to reach new heights. The 48-HOUR RIDE team is ready to meet this challenge next year!
