• 516 Wishes Granted
  • A well-deserved recognition

The financial support of our donors, the support of our volunteers and the generosity of our partners allow us to create unique experiences that provide children with the emotional and physical strength needed to fight their illness. To celebrate their dedication and their precious contribution, Make-A-Wish Quebec organized a recognition event on April 26th at Expo Barbie in Les Cours Mont-Royal.

The guests enjoyed the largest haute couture Barbie exhibition in the world in addition to talking with our wish families. Stavros, a teenager whose wish to attend the Super Bowl was granted this winter, made a touching testimony. He explained how his wish had a positive impact on his life.

During the evening, we recognized the exceptional commitment of a volunteer who has supported the Foundation for more than 10 years. Steve Drapeau, aka DJ Skip, gives an extremely precious gift of his time and talents to each of our major events. His music creates a festive mood every time.

Make-A-Wish Quebec warmly thanks its partner Les Cours Mont-Royal for its hospitality and generosity that allowed us to organize such an event. We would like to thank Valerie Law, Vice President Marketing and Communications at Soltron Group Les Cours Mont-Royal, for her involvement and assistance for three years so far. We also thank Metro and Baccino Events for their contribution to the success of the event.
