The 48-HOUR RIDE Make-A-Wish Québec is the most important fundraising event of Make-A-Wish / Fais-Un-Vœu Québec. Based on team spirit, team bonding, and challenging oneself, the event attracts mostly people from Quebec's business community, biking enthusiasts and occasional riders. Grouped in teams of 6, participants relay each other day and night for 48 hours. Since its inception, the 48-HOUR RIDE has raised more than $9.4 million with the great support of thousands of participants, donors, sponsers and volunteers.

This is what you should know about the event:

  • A team consists of 6 participants or less;

  • Each team must raise a minimum of $3,600 - an average of $600 per participant (some may collect more and some may collect less);

  • There is always at least one team member cycling on the track, though some may choose to cycle less hours than the others;

  • Each team will make their own schedule based on the availability and preferences of each rider;

  • This is not a race;

  • There is no registration fee;
