It’s a wrap for Rope for Hope 2018!

 

Congratulations to our brave participants experienced the thrill of rappelling down 29 stories!

Thanks to them, over $82 000 have been raised to help transform lives and make wishes come true. Our heartfelt thanks!

A well-deserved recognition

The financial support of our donors, the support of our volunteers and the generosity of our partners allow us to create unique experiences that provide children with the emotional and physical strength needed to fight their illness. To celebrate their dedication and their precious contribution, Make-A-Wish Quebec organized a recognition event on April 26th at Expo Barbie in Les Cours Mont-Royal.

A Special Wish Reveal for Emil

May 2018

When Wish Granters met Émil, this 7-year-old boy told them he wanted a "wave monster" at home. On April 29, he experienced the surprise of a lifetime when he saw a limousine stop in front of his house. The driver invited him, as well as his parents and brothers, for a ride to the Trevi store in Mascouche where family members, friends and store employees were waiting for him.

Canadian RV & Camping Week – May 22-27

Go RVing Canada, the Canadian Camping and RV Council (CCRVC), the RVDA of Canada, and Make-A-Wish® Canada will once again partner to host Canadian RVing and Camping Week, from May 22-27, 2018. The week will be a joint celebration of RVing and camping in Canada, while also creating awareness, and gathering charitable donations for children with life threatening illnesses through Make-A-Wish Canada.

Make-A-Wish® Quebec sent Stavros, a 16-year-old with Friedreich’s ataxia, to Minneapolis for a football experience fit for a true champion. Stavros joined a team of 14 kids with critical illnesses hailing from eight different states and Canada for their wish to attend Super Bowl LII. These wishes are only possible thanks to volunteers and generous donations from supporters, like the National Football League (NFL).
