I wish to go to Paris

Ofélie is a little 8-year-old girl who smiles to life. Ofélie's neuromuscular disease does not allow her to be autonomous in her daily activities and she has to move in a wheelchair.

But Ofélie's daily life is filled with magic, fairies and princess castles. She enjoys playing with her dog Sweetie, going to the pool and playing the piano.

When her volunteers asked her what would make her the happiest, she immediately said that she wanted to go to Paris and see where her favorite cartoon Lady Bug, lives. So, last October she flew with her parents to the French capital.

Ofélie and her family enjoyed a guided bus tour to see the Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Tuileries Garden, the Opéra Garnier, the Sacré-Coeur and dozens of other mythical places from the capital. Disguised as Lady Bug, Ofélie also had the chance to visit the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, the Grévin Museum and she especially loved going to the top of the Eiffel Tower to enjoy the view of Paris at night.

Upon her return, Ofélie told us that she was happy to have realized her wish. Her mother was delighted to have been able to see happiness in her daughter's eyes, and to live a whole week without thinking of Ofelie's disease, without medical appointments, and without therapy. "A real week to get down and feel strong like LadyBug! ".
