I wish to see the LEGO store in New York

Oscar has cystic fibrosis, which means he has to take medications at meals and snacks, as well as undergo physiotherapy twice a day. This seven-year-old boy loves gifts and surprises. He told us that his favourite day was his birthday because he gets presents.

Oscar also loves LEGO and showing his parents how good he is at building new structures at lightning speeds. Is this one of the reasons why he wanted to go to New York to see the buildings? One thing is for sure, Oscar insisted on going there before turning eight to visit some must-see sites that piqued his curiosity, such as Central Park and, of course, the LEGO store!

In June, seven-year-old Oscar and his family flew to New York. As planned, he walked around Central Park and went to the LEGO store, which he loved, but he also visited other places that children love, such as the Museum of Natural History and the M & M store. He went to the famous Chinatown, as well as Coney Island where he got to go go-karting at Luna Park with his family, and not to mention the boat ride that he took to see the Statue of Liberty! In short, all of Oscar's wishes came true. No doubt that the memories from his New York adventure will make him smile for years to come.

A big thank you to the Velociraptors team, who made Oscar's wish possible through the Adopt-A-Wish program! We would also like to thank our partners Sony, TuGo and everyone who helped to grant Oscar's wish.
